My overall design currently follows the traditional Orchestra Model (OM) body style, with a 25.4” scale length and 12 or 14 frets from nut to body. Read below for some of my enhancements to the traditional design.

Fretboards have a compound radius that can be customized for the individual musician.
Fret options include stainless steel (which are incredibly durable and smooth) or traditional nickel-silver.
Intonation is achieved by incorporating the Magliari Compensation System (MCS) described in this 2013 GAL article. MCS compensates for increased string tension on the fretted string to give the best intonation for every note on the fretboard. Compensation is applied to the nut and saddle, and individual fret spacings are adjusted by a fraction of a millimeter for optimal intonation.
Necks have a dual-action truss rod. Dual carbon fiber supports are inlayed adjacent to the truss rod for structural integrity - the neck will never warp or twist. Neck width and profile can be specified to match your personal preferences.
Tops are sonically graded - each with individual thickness targeted to maximize projection, volume, and responsiveness (density, Q-factor, Young’s modulus).
Bracing incorporates traditional scalloped Martin X-style bracing, customized for each individual guitar top to maximize voice and projection while maintaining structural integrity.
Amplification comes through K&K Pure Mini acoustic pick-ups as my current standard, others are available on request.
Frequency Response can be manipulated to enhance personal preferences. I use modal analysis to illustrate the main resonant frequencies of the guitar body itself, and these can be shifted to achieve each musician’s desired tonal qualities after the guitar is built.
A variety of finish options are available, the choice is yours depending on personal preferences: nitrocellulose lacquer, French polish, UV cured polyester or catalyzed polyurethane. Combination finishes can also be applied.
